Hi Andy,

I showed the animation about Earth compared to stars to my brother and he was really amazed about how small Earth is to other stars.
I also watched the video on solar storms but I couldn't find an answer to question 2. Here are the answers to the other questions:
1. Solar storms are when billions of tons of heaed gas go into space.
3. They come from the area around sun spots. Sun spots are caused when magnetic force comes out from the Sun's core.
4. They could effect spaceships and GPSs. Solar storms also cause the Northern and Southern lights.

These are the answers to the questions.
Q1. A solar storm is when a powerful solar winds come out of the sun and are caused by a magnetic force.
Q2. The video did not say when solar storms occur.
Q3. They come from the hottest and gassy part of the sun.
Q4. They can effect GPS's they can effect electricity etc..

Solar storms occur two days the fast ones take twelve hours
Solar storms come from the area around the suns dark spot
When a solar storm happens and colides with earth It creates the most beateful Aroura
