The third blogging challenge has now started. Visit the page for more details.

This week's challenge is tell us more about where you live. This can also be where you are from for us since we all come from so many different places. You should also add pictures and more! Perhaps a google map to show the actual location. Visit the blog now!

This week your challenge is to create an avatar for your blog. The full directions are here. Many of you have created a Simpson themed avatar like I did on the right. You can also use one of these websites to create an avatar.
Any age can use these avatar sites:
From abi-station:
Once you have your avatar email a picture of it to me and I will make a movie of all of them together. You have until Thursday to email it to me.

You also have to:
'In a post, please answer this question: When do you think it is appropriate for students to use real photos of themselves on their blogs and why? See if you can research this on the net and find responses from other educators. Remember to link to their post if you use information they mentioned. Hyperlink as well to this challenge post, so I can read your answers.'

In your blog you should also hyperlink to the student challenge blog as well!

This first week you have to:

Task One
- Visit one class or student blog from the list:

Classes 2010
Students 2010

- Write a good comment from a post you have read.

- Copy the url address and send it to me on First Class so I may read your comment.
(Remember to keep a copy of the location of the blogs you have visited You could create a special page on your website or add them to a blog post).

Task Two

  1. Write a post in your blog explaining why people should visit.
  2. Express what people can learn from learning your posts or what experiences you may share.
I need a volunteer to do this for our class blog who isn't part of the student challenge. (Thank you Phoebe).
