Many thanks to Amy Clayton who came into Grade 5 today to talk about health, hygiene and puberty. Amy is a registered nurse and has worked with young people of all ages to help them understand their body changes. She gave us many tips about how to stay healthy, including where the dirtiest part of our hands are (the thumbs), the need to shower everyday as we become smellier, and how to brush our teeth properly. You can also find a copy of our body changes reading timetable below. We will now meet every Monday to discuss what we have read in the books and ask questions about the content. RRJ's for the next few weeks are due on Mondays and are based on the books we are reading for this unit.
This is your reading timetable for our body changes unit.
