We Are Grade 5AB

We are the oldest class in all primary school and the little kids look up to us
We wonder how other schools teach
We hear the sound of our hearts thumping as we do a hard test
We see an A+ on all our work
We want every kid to have a successful life in his or her future

We pretend we are working when the teachers are watching us
We feel that our friends are a big part of us
We touch the keyboard as we type out an important piece of work
We worry that we will get in big trouble
We cry for all who does not have the chance to be educated
We are the oldest class in all primary school and the little kids look up to us

We understand the importance of education
We say anything is possible, no matter
We dream of becoming whatever we want to be
We try to have fun in class
We hope we can balance having fun and learning
